Spreadshirt is a German company that stands behind its products and does its best to keep its customers satisfied by sending them quality products with fast shipping times.
This is great for you if you want to sell your merchandise online, because quality products, fast shipping and good support mean low refund rate and less angry emails from customers who received something that wasn’t as good as they expected.
Another very big advantage for using Spreadshirt for creating and selling your merch is the fact that you can market your merch products in different ways.
For example, you can list your merch products on the Spreadshirt marketplace, so that anyone who comes to the marketplace searching for items to buy, they could discover your merch products, and thus, you benefit from the traffic coming to Spreadshirt’s marketplace like you would do when using Merch by Amazon by getting the Amazon traffic.
But this is not all!
Spreadshirt allows you to create your separate store on Spreadshop.com, where you list all your products in one store that you own and name as you wish.

And then, you can start creating your own merch products with Printful, list them on your store with the prices you want to sell at, and then market them.
My favorite method is to create your own merch store on a domain that you own using one of the available platforms like Shopify and WordPress, as this gives you more features in order to increase the average order value and the lifetime value of your customers.

And you can market your merch products in different paid and free ways, such as optimizing your store for search engines, or by using Instagram to sell your merch for example.
Printful also offers more products than what Amazon Merch offers, including:

The catalog of POD products on Sellfy Merchandise is small, but they can be good at the start if you want a very quick way to get started.

The nice thing about using Sellfy to sell merch, in addition to the easy of use of the platform, is that you can easily create discount codes with it, which helps in increasing conversion rates.
Zazzle is another great Merch by Amazon alternative as they get a lot of traffic from search engines and from people who already know them, and they offer a wide range of products that you can sell as your merchandise.
Zazzle does not integrate with other marketplaces like Amazon and Etsy, nor do they have integration with platforms that allow you to have a website on your own domain name like Shopify and WordPress.
The only way to sell your merch with Zazzle is to list your products on their marketplace, and either market them by yourself through paid and free methods, or wait for shoppers to find them through searching on the TeePublic marketplace or through the search engines if you have optimized your listing well.

TeePublic is one of the biggest and most recognized online marketplaces for selling print on demand products.
Like it is with Zazzle, TeePublic doesn’t integrate with platforms like Shopify and WordPress, and they don’t have current integrations with Marketplaces like Etsy and Amazon.
You either market your merch products by yourself, or your rely on TeePublic’s existing traffic.
However, because TeePublic is a will-known marketplace, and they get a lot of traffic from serious buyers on daily basis, this means that they are one of the good alternatives for Merch by Amazon.
Different products are available to sell as your merch with TeePublic, such as:
- Kids Apparel.
- Adult Apparel.
- Face masks.
- Phone and laptop cases, magnets, stickers.

But Gearbubble doesn’t have as much traffic as the previous options like Zazzle and TeePublic for example.
